Season two of HBO’s White Lotus left us with a strong desire to book a tropical vacation we had not planned. Plus, the show does an excellent job at developing an aesthetic that evolves with each character’s growth. In an interview with Vogue, White Lotus costume designer Alex Bovaird explained that she focused on the individual storylines of the characters to find pieces according to their personalities. With a relocation to a beautiful coastal town in Sicily, expect to see a lot of vacationcore throughout the season. Check out the best looks from the first episode!

In Season One, viewers quickly discover that the guests are wealthy and out of touch, embodying the wealth and privilege associated with luxury hospitality. But the show also has undertones of race, class, and gender issues, which are communicated through fashion statements (such as Connie Briton’s $75,000 bracelets).

The resort setting of the idyllic Sicilian beaches serves up swimsuit styles worthy of seeking out for your next vacay, like this sea-themed yellow one-piece that Meghann Fahy is nailing here. And if she looks familiar, it is because she also portrayed Sutton Brady on The Bold Type.
